Not too long ago, Victoria's Secret had a promo for 4 for $20 if you buy from their Beauty Rush makeup line. I had a $10 voucher to use up before April ended so I decided to check out their makeup line. I've never tried any of them before and I must say, I'm pretty impressed.
I bought four lip products and four eyeshadow palettes in two separate shopping trips. I might do a review of the shadows but long story short, I've been using them a lot and I do like them. As for lips, I got three jumbo lip glosses and a lip tint. I'll be doing a separate post for the lip tints that I have so this post is for the Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Glossy Tint lip sheen.
Sorry for the shoddy lighting and crappy pictures. I got bored and I just want this review out there. I haven't read much on these babies which is a shame because they are really good. I think there are four colors available, at least at the store. The one that I don't have here is Boudoir Pink. After swatching over and over at the store, I settled for these three.
Yesterday was a beautiful Spring day. But hey, I wore black and red. XD
My Korean class was 재미있어, as usual. This is the one thing in my week that I genuinely look forward to and am excited about. My teacher and I talked about that... that this is the one thing I do for myself and not because I have to or it's my job. Plus, I pay for this. I have to enjoy it, right? ㅋㅋㅋ...
I love wearing dresses. I don't have a lot though. I'm very picky when it comes to dresses. I am on the heavier side (more then than now, mind you) so I have some places to hide or disguise. But I love this one from Cotton On. And I got it for $5 at the Camarillo Outlets. The sandals are from Sam & Libby (Ross, actually) and my bag is from Juicy Couture that I originally got for the BIGBANG concert. The black bangle is from Forever 21 that I got when they had their uber sale. I think that went for $1.99, idek.
Also, Saturdays is the one day of the week when I can be more adventurous with my makeup. Some weeks ago, I went with blue mascara. This week wasn't that loud though. It just felt a bit... dark. LOL.
Blue lashes, I mean.
Earlier this week, I picked up colored mascara. I've always wanted to try colored mascara. I'm pretty proud of my lashes; they're long and lush (with the right product and application) and they complete any look I may have that day. I've tried so many lengthening, volumizing, defining, lash growing, waterproof, and clear mascaras that I decided to just go for the colored ones.

Ah, blue. I've done my research, of course, and a lot say that blue works well with brown eyes. I personally do not like blue eyeshadow but I like dark blue eyeliner. Some suggested using a blue mascara as a top coat over the black but that didn't make sense to me. I tried that, laying the color over the black mascara I already had on, and it didn't show up at all.
