여름 이에요! Happy Summer 2013!
Summer means bold makeup, especially on the lips. A bright lip color can instantly liven up your face. Keep the rest of your face neutral and go the extra mile with a lip that says "I'm here!"
Lipsticks have a strangle hold on bright lip color products but lately, glosses are stepping up their game. I'm not really a gloss-only person but after trying these new ones from Rimmel London, I may have to rethink that.
The Rimmel London Show Off lip lacquer, a.k.a. Rimmel London Apocalips lip lacquer is a Walgreens exclusive, for now. The UK name is cooler but the US name represents the product better. It is a liquid lipstick type product. Not exactly a lip cream because the consistency is closer to a lip gloss. It is in line with the Wet'n'Wild Liquid Lip Colors but less drying. And these are not matte.
Last week, I picked up four colors. I had to visit two Walgreens branches to get them. One color is apparently so popular, they cannot keep it in stock. Any guesses? It's the one I wanted to get the most. If you know me, you'll know what that is... ;-)
Impromptu trip to Ontario Mills. I had less than 10 minutes to paint my face lol.

It's tough to say "아니오, 괜찮아요" when Coach bags has an awesome sale. This time around, they have a 50% off the whole store. But unlike my last time at Coach, I got something from the full-priced items. I don't have a photo of it yet but here's one from eBay:
I think this bag is called the Daisy Leather MIA Khaki/Pink/Orange handbag. I fell in love with it at first glance. I snatched it up as soon as I saw it, dropped the one that I was already toting around. And guess what, this was the last one in the store! (Well, not really. They had more of the blue one but I like this.)
This is it for bag for me... for now. ;-)
I have to say, it's not my best but I was stressing out today. I had a job interview so my makeup was nothing special. I was more excited over my Cotton On beanie; you can see a peek of it here. Ah, I was just stressing, not feeling too confident. But I looked decent enough. XD
Face:

- Wet n Wild Pearlescent Pink blush
- Wet n Wild Walking on Eggshells palette
- CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume
- Rimmel Pink Blush lipstick
- ELF Brow Kit in medium

On my nails, I actually did a really bright yellow and green alternate pattern but I had to switch to something more "job interview appropriate".
Wet n Wild Mega Last in 205B Sugar Coat. It's a pinkish nude. I don't think it goes well with my skin tone but it works. This is my favorite formula so I might switch to a more colorful choice from the same line next week.
Also, I did a bit of spring cleaning. I decided to weed out some products from my lip product drawers. Some I threw out and some I will give away, probably. They are still definitely usable, cleaned them and checked if they're still good. It's the color that I don't like so much anymore. Some of the stuff I have are incredibly frosty. I think I got them just so I can complete a collection from a brand. Some have gold-colored glitter/shimmer on them and some just have glitter that I can actually feel. 나빠요.
I still have a lot left. But these are definitely colors that I'll use. My orange collection has grown a lot. By the way, I've started my Orange Days on Instagram and Tumblr (links below). Not on Facebook though. I don't think my real friends and family would like to be flooded with photos of my lips every few days LOL.
I don't know about you but I pretty much spend yesterday alone. And no, I'm not bitter or anything like that. I actually enjoyed my Hollywood day. I went to Simon Baker's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, more on that in the coming posts, and just walked around the boulevard. I didn't go to Universal Studios anymore because I got tired and it was hot and I was not dressed appropriately for that unexpected heat. So I just went straight on home enjoying a Power-sized Razzmatazz from Jamba Juice. And after that, I was KO'd. Strange.

안녕! How was your Lunar New Year? I had Italian food. Yeah. Totally unrelated. And I also did some hauling. Beauty hauling that is. ^o^ How many orange lipsticks are at the drugstore?! I am this close to having them all, I think. Haha... I sure did well for myself yesterday.
Ohh yay, mess! See, I even got a peachy blush. My mom and I went crazy because both RiteAid and CVS are having such great deals right now. And I had some surprise coupons from CVS that I had to use up before they expired. Also, two of these products are not from yesterday's haul but I decided to include them anyway. As I've mentioned before, anything orange will not be reviewed right away. Wait for my master post on that. The others... maybe. The Wet n Wild stuff are new so I might get on that.
My mom and I went out and saw Les Miserables today. Matinee, $9. XD Will talk about that later.
I rocked an all-day Korean slightly messy bun. And my new favorite, orange lipsticks. Orange is my favorite color anyway. It's about time that I try it on my face for a pop of color. I know it's winter but hey, it worked.
Those cute tennis ball earrings are from What It Takes [dot] org, Serena Williams design. I have a necklace from the collection and the watch, which I also wore today. Other celebrities contributed other artwork as well but because a part of my heart belongs to tennis, I got Serena's stuff.
As for the rest of my outfit for today...
